2023 Theory Suite Retreat: A Convergence of Minds in Granby, Colorado
This year’s Theory Suite Retreat was a fusion of reflection, discussion, and camaraderie, set in Granby, Colorado.
Our team engaged in an extensive review of our progress over the past year, thoroughly examining the status of grants and publications across our groups. Each group member then presented an elevator pitch, these pitches provided a window into our researchers and their exciting current work. In a blend of fun and academia, we participated in research-based games that not only challenged our intellects but also strengthened our bonds through the universal language of chemistry. These activities were not just about learning; they were about forging deeper connections among us through shared experiences and a common passion for discovery.
The retreat was also an occasion to welcome new members to the Theory Suite. We extend our warmest regards to Jake and Jaehwan, the newest additions to the Theory Suite. Their arrival brings fresh perspectives and ideas to an already vibrant scholarly community.
As we left Granby, we carried with us not only the memories of a retreat well spent but also renewed enthusiasm and a strengthened sense of unity in our collective pursuit of scientific excellence.
