Collin grew up in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He obtained his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology from Truman State University. There he researched potential inhibitors of the ZIKV
NS2B-NS3 protease for the treatment of the Zika virus. Collin also had the opportunity to start
and lead research on potential inhibitors for Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 as a possible
cancer treatment under Dr. Bill Miller. Collin enjoys watching movies, hiking, and cooking in his
free time.
