Cassiano was born in Uberlândia, Brazil, and grew up internationally in Hong Kong and China before moving to the US. He is currently an undergraduate student at Colorado State University, dual majoring in Chemical and Biological Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, with minors in Mathematics and Machine Learning. He joined the Kim Group in May 2026 and is motivated by a strong interest in applying computational chemistry and machine learning tools to chemical systems. In his spare time, Cassiano enjoys weightlifting, gaming, and hiking.
