Amy DiVito

Amy DiVito is a biochemistry student from New Hampshire, currently studying at the University of New Hampshire. Her research focuses on DNA-based hydrogels with tunable properties, including pH sensitivity, temperature responsiveness, and light activation. These hydrogels incorporate intercalated double-stranded DNA and utilize a crosslinking strategy to enhance their functionality. Outside of academics, Amy enjoys hiking, coffee, scary movies, and reading. Amy is an REU student this summer and is shared with Professor Megan Hill’s lab!
