Kim group postdoctoral fellows Dr. Yeonjoon Kim and Dr. Mohammed Jabed had their work on supported vanadia catalyst design accepted for publication in the Chemical Engineering Journal. The applicability of these catalyst systems in the process of upgrading lignin to phenolic species was studied, resulting in new guidelines for catalyst design!
